Brace yourselves. By the end of tomorrow, the Church Triumphant is about to get that much sexier. Oh yeah.
Kateri Tekakwitha and Pedro Calungsod seem to be getting most of the attention where I’m at, but I strongly encourage you to read up on all the seven “blesseds” who are about to be canonized tomorrow! I’ve attached links for your convenience.

Happy feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, the patroness of penitents!
“St. Mary was given the name ‘Magdalen’ because, though a Jewish girl, she lived in a Gentile town called Magdale, in northern Galilee, and her culture and manners were those of a Gentile.
Except for the mother of Jesus, few women are more honored in the Bible than Mary Magdalene.”  - uCatholic.com
Although a notorious sinner in her early life, Magdalene’s sins were forgiven and she became a devoted disciple of Jesus. She is sometimes associated with Mary of Bethany, or believed to be the sister of Lazarus, Mary, and Martha. She was present at the Crucifixion along with Mary the mother of Jesus, and the apostle John. She was also given the great honour of being the first to witness the resurrected Christ.
“She loved much, and through her love she found the God she sought. By the prayers and example of Mary Magdalene may we proclaim Christ as our Lord.”  - The Book of Saints
